Coconut Coir (pronounced “koi’er”) is the 1-2”/3-5 cm thick fibrous layer located between the green skin and the hard brown shell of a coconut. This material is ground up, or decorticated, to produce both coir dust and fiber. After further processing, Omicoir transforms this material into a diverse range of products, including soil supplements and growing containers.
